What to expect

We review your health history, medications and any past treatments. Then we watch how your face moves and talk through what you'd like to soften and what you'd like to keep.

The injections take about 10–15 minutes. Most people describe the feeling as a quick pinch.
During

Return to your day right away. Results begin in 3–5 days, are fully visible at about 2 weeks, and typically last 3–4 months.
Have an event coming up? Book at least 2 weeks ahead so your results are settled and there's time for any fine-tuning.
aFTERCARE
Stay upright for 4 hours after treatment.
Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas for the rest of the day.
Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, and facials until the next day.
Makeup can be applied gently after a few hours.
Travel: As a precaution, we recommend waiting 48 hours before flying. If you have a trip coming up, try to book at least 2 weeks ahead so your results have settled and you're in town if you'd like a follow-up adjustment.
Who should not receive neuromodulators
We'll recommend waiting or choosing another treatment if you:
Are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
Have a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis or ALS
Have had an allergic reaction to a neuromodulator
Have an active skin infection in the treatment area
Have a cow's milk protein allergy (this rules out Dysport specifically; other options may still be suitable)
Please tell us about all medications and supplements, including blood thinners and fish oil, which can increase bruising.
Possible side effects
Side effects are usually mild and temporary. The most common are redness, swelling, or small bruises at injection sites, and a mild headache.
Less commonly, a brow or eyelid can feel heavy or droop for a few weeks. Careful placement and conservative dosing lower this risk, and we're available if you have any concerns after your treatment.
