What dermaplaning does

Dermaplaning

Your esthetician uses a sterile surgical blade to gently remove the top layer of dead skin and fine "peach fuzz" hair. Skin looks smoother and brighter right away, and serums absorb better afterward.

There's no downtime, and the hair does not grow back thicker or darker. Most clients repeat it every 3–4 weeks, on its own or with a facial.

Not recommended during active breakouts, with a sunburn, or within 6 months of isotretinoin (Accutane).

FAQ

Facial FAQs

What's the best facial for acne?

The SKIN Edit: Refined is a good start, with extractions, LED and a treatment serum to clear congestion. For ongoing or cystic acne, we'll recommend a plan that may include peels, prescription options or microneedling for scarring.

How often should I get a facial?

Every 4–6 weeks works for most people, since that roughly matches how often your skin renews itself.

Will dermaplaning make my hair grow back thicker?

No. Fine facial hair grows back the same texture and color. Cutting it doesn't change the hair follicle.

Do you offer facials for men?

Yes. Men often start with the SKIN Edit: Refined, which helps with congestion, ingrown hairs and rough texture. Your esthetician can also give simple advice for your shaving routine.

Can I get a facial after Botox or filler?

Wait at least 1–2 weeks after injectables so massage and pressure don't affect your results. Let us know when you book.
